Dietary intervention reprograms bone marrow cellular signaling in obese mice

Objectives The current study aimed to investigate the pathogenesis of obesity-induced impaired bone mass accrual and impact dietary intervention on density in mouse model obesity. Methods Mice were fed with chow diet (CD) for 10 months, high-fat-diet (HFD) or HFD 6 months then transferred 4 (HFDt). Results Weight loss decreased intrahepatic lipid accumulation observed mice following intervention. Additionally, feeding induced accrual, while restrained trabecular density. These changes further reflected by increased osteogenesis adipogenesis HFDt compared mice. Furthermore, activity Wingless-related integration site (Wnt)-β-Catenin signaling pathway, Wnt was augmented group. Conclusions Our findings suggest that a inhibits formation reverses this inhibition. able compensate suppressed increase level comparable CD suggests targeting pathway may be potential approach treat accrual.
